Comparison between Six Pistols and Rotten Rostropóvich (Week 5)

Sex Pistols was a group, whereas Mstislav Rotten Rostropóvich was just a cellist, although in this picture he is playing in an orchestra. Different from Jonny, from the Sex Pistols, Rostropóvich did not sing.

In contrast, in these photos, Johnny is younger and plays punk pop music, while Rotten R. is older and plays classic music. The Sex Pistols are wearing fashionable and casual clothes, while Rostropóvich dresses more smartly.

On the other hand, making reference to the audience, though the cellist’s spectators used to be sat, the Sex Pistols’ fans used to be stand. As far as I am concerned, rock fans are usually funnier, active and edgy, as long as the Rostropóvich’s admirers, that is, those who go to listen to classic music, are usually more quiet, patient and older. In addition, it seems that Sex Pistols are playing outside, whereas Rostropóvich is playing inside an auditorium. 

Nevertheless, both Sex Pistols and Rostropóvich played string instruments, and similarly, they have been big stars in the world of music with millions of fans and artworks.
