DEATH AS A MYSTERY 🍃

I have chosen the topic of death, because it is an issue that we try to avoid...

It’s true that sometimes we are afraid of the death, since it is intriguing, we deny what will happen, being the loss of a loved one the hardest blow we can suffer in life. Similarly, the fear of death is the result of our ignorance toward the same idea. An idea that we try to avoid. I consider that this is due to the fact that since we are little, we aren’t educated well about “death”, because the meaning that we acquire is death such as a tragic fact, full of sadness and pain, instead of as an eternal rest.

Nevertheless, it’s true that sometimes what scares us more, it isn’t the death, but the inability to fend for ourselves, of feeling us old and useless.

This is due to capitalist society where we live, which marks the desire to be young forever through by gyms, creams, surgery, liposuctions, etc. Thus, old age is relegated as the worst stage of life, the most boring and agonizing.

To sum up, I would say that we should change our mind, or at least, the children’s mind through the education at school and films, loving all the stages of our life.
